The Competitive Debate - Should Reactive Skins Be Allowed?

The introduction of reactive skins like the Cash Bandit in CoD BO6 brings up an interesting debate. While I personally love the idea of skins that evolve based on performance, I can’t help but wonder about their place in competitive play. Competitive CoD has always been about skill, strategy, and precision, and now we’re adding skins that potentially alter the player's visibility and overall presentation in the game.
The Cash Bandit skin, for example, becomes increasingly flashy the more you kill, and this can easily give away your position to opponents. While it’s fun to show off your progression, in a highly competitive setting, I think it could be a bit too distracting. Imagine trying to hide in a corner, but there’s a pile of cash falling from your character’s belt, alerting every enemy in the vicinity to your location.
It’s not just the visual element that bothers me; it’s the fact that players who do well are basically rewarded with a skin that screams “Look at me!” Is this really fair in a mode where every advantage counts?
I’m curious to hear others’ thoughts on this—do reactive skins like Cash Bandit give too much away in a competitive setting, or are they just fun additions?
