Lady April Smith, affectionately known as "Lady A", was born in Los Angeles, Ca. She was born to the union of Elder Samuel Wade, Sr. and Evangelist Albertine Wade. She is the youngest of 6 children. Lady April has been married to Pastor Chane for over 32 years. To their union, they have 7 children. While she holds many positions and roles within life and the church, her greatest joy is as wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, and sister; amongst so many other things.

Lady April has served the SMT Church faithfully for 32 years. Before Pastor Chane became Pastor, she served in the establishment of Children's Church, the Purity Class, the SMT Sanctuary Choir, the Sunshine Band, and currently serves as the Church Administrator. In addition, Lady April serves the SMT Church as the Director of the Women's Department. It is her mission to empower women to be whom God has called them to be and to be sold out to Him.

Lady April has been living for Jesus since her adolescent years. All esteem her as not just a Woman of God, but as a strong, courageous, and wise woman who doesn't take her position, nor her role, for granted. Her life's mission is to please God in every aspect of her life.
